Friday 31 March Sea kayak pool session * Now live on Webcollect*
There will hopefully be a pool session on Fri 31 March at the Lamorna Pool c 7.30pm. 2 The Chalet Lamorna, Combe Cross, Sandygate, Newton Abbot TQ12 3GR. The aim of the session is for paddlers to learn to do a self rescue. There are many techniques and the aim is for paddlers to try them and see what works. I plan to take three washed SK to the pool, so participants will not be required to take a boat.
Self rescues are required for the BC sea kayak award, and there is a plan for many club paddlers to work towards this award this summer. If you have done the club's SK explore course then this session is ideal for you.
This evening is not for learning to roll. Please use the St Luke's pool sessions for that purpose.

Hi Jane, Having just spoken to the pool manager, Lamorna is defiantly booked for us, this Friday evening. Start time is 19:35 for 90mins.
The cost of the pool is £52.50 for the 90mins. so if we can get 8 people together, each should be expected to pay about £10 each.

has everyone that wants to come used webcollect to book? I just went on there and it looks like no one has booked on there. Hi, I have accidentally booked two places at the Friday pool session by mistake. I tried to book one for myself but paid for two. So there is effectively one free pool session left for someone. If anyone is still interested please make a comment on this feed to register this last place. First come first served. Thanks.

3 kayaks are loaded, plus 3 decks and 3 paddles inc one LH. I forgot the paddle floats. Is anyone able to collect some. They are near the paddles in the shed.
I can’t collect any from the shed but can bring two floats with me.
