Cardif white water centre Sunday August 12
Right, I think it's about time we visited Cardiff white water centre so some keen paddlers who want to try some white water can do so before we head out on beginners trips on cold rivers. The day starts at 4 cumecs (Cubic meters per second) and works up through out the day changing the features and keeping it interesting. The best bit is the conveyor belt ride to the top of the course.
Cost is 12.50 plus 5 membership which is an annual membership. Decent shower and changing facilities and a café for coffee and cake. There's obviously travel costs which will be up to you to decide amongst your selves, generally per car.
It's a great intro to white water for those keen to go for it in a controlled environment.

Looking at August 12th. Be a drive up in the morning and home at the end of the day.
I'd suggest up to at least 2 star standard even if you're yet to take your assessment.
