Tony sends greetings. He's lost his right foot, and has some other injuries, but he's going on well. He should be back in Exeter at the RDE tonight. More news at club tonight. Jacqui
Update; Tony is now on Durbin Ward in RDE. If anyone wants to drop in, he's on a restricted diet (apart from the issue of hospital food) . He can eat crisps, Minstrels and Maltesers and J2O apple and raspberry is a treat!
Tony update I visitedTony today at the RD n E . He will be leaving in a few days and going back to Okehampton. Guesses that there is likely to be a few months mending & rehabilitation. Very keen to get back on the water. I passed on the messages asTony hasn't got access to Internet at present. Update! I saw Tony for coffee this afternoon in Okehampton. He thinks his leg is making good progress and next week he hopes to start the rather lengthy treatments to prepare the stump for a prosthesis. He's had a few forays out in Okehampton. He fancies a gig at the Phoenix so if anyone is going, let him n me know and we can sort transport. Likewise anyone going to a bike show! As soon as the medics allow it, he hopes to be in or on a kayak. Jacqui S
