Saturday 6 April sea kayak paddle on canal

Spotting a gap in the weather forecast there will be a sea kayak paddle on the canal. Meet at 9am and hope to be back before it starts raining.

    I'd like to join. You say 'back before the rain' can I assume this means we will be back by lunchtime? Also, if I decide to cycle to the club, could I use a club boat?

    Yes we'll be finished before lunchtime. Just a simple paddle, perhaps to lime kilns past Double Locks. We can decide in the morning and we don't all have to do the same trip. Club boats can be used.

    That was fun! Richard achieved his aim of spotting a sand martin over the canal (near Topsham), so spring is declared open. Thanks for your company, everyone, and Jane for organising.
